Michael Watret - Operations Director
Mike began his bingo career at the Carlton Club in Stirling in 1991 before embarking on a 20 year career with Gala Bingo. He spent all of his career in operations with Gala as General Manager, Business Development Manager and, more recently, as Gala's Regional Manager in Scotland. Mike returned to Carlton in June 2012 taking up the role of Operations Manager before assuming the role of Operations Director in October 2012. Mike is based in our Stirling Office. Mike is a Director of the National Bingo Association and The Bingo Association.
Leslie Ross - Finance Director
Leslie joined the company as Assistant Accountant in March 1995, shortly after completing a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. He was appointed Management Accountant in December 1996, assuming the additional role of Office Manager at the Inverness Head Office from April 1998. He gained his ACCA qualification in 2007 and was appointed Finance Director in October 2012.
Peter Perrins - Director
Peter Perrins qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Scotland in 1973, having served an apprenticeship with Davidson Smith, Wighton & Crawford C.A. Shortly after qualifying he joined the London Office of Price Waterhouse & Co., until returning to Scotland and joining Caledonian Associated Cinemas Limited (now Taylor Clark Leisure Limited) in Inverness as Financial Controller in October 1976. In 1983 he was appointed Company Secretary and in 1986 appointed Financial Director. In 1992 he was appointed Group Managing Director.
George Carter - Director
George Carter qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 and after a period abroad started with the then Caladonian Associated Cinemas. He joined the board of the then CAC Leisure in 1992 and the main board of Taylor Clark Leisure plc in 1994. George became Company Secretary in 1991 and Financial Director in 1994.
Brian King - Director
Brian King began his leisure career in Kirkcaldy. He started in the bingo industry in 1970, working for Pleasurama and Mecca before becoming area manager for Kingsway Entertainments. In 1988, he joined Carlton Clubs as Regional Controller and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 1991 as Regional Director of Operations in North of Scotland and North East England.
Christopher Barr - Director
Chris Barr began his leisure career in Kirkcaldy and has extensive knowledge of the Fife leisure market. He joined Kingsway Entertainment in 1976 as a Trainee Manager, managing clubs before becoming Area Manager in 1987. Following Kingsway’s acquisition by Granada in 1989, he left to join Carlton Clubs as Manager of their Stirling Club. In 1994, he became Regional Controller and in 1997 was appointed to the Board as Regional Director of Operations Central Scotland.
